WhatsApp has announced a set of new features in its messaging application.
According to their blog, the update focuses on storage management, account flexibility, and chat tools.
Users can now free up space more easily by finding and deleting large files within individual chats. A new “Manage Storage” option also allows users to remove media files without deleting entire conversations.
The app now supports cross-platform chat transfer to move chat history, photos, and videos between iOS and Android devices.
On iOS, WhatsApp adds support for using two accounts on one phone, which is a feature already available on Android.
Users can switch accounts within the app, with profile pictures shown for easier identification.

Other updates include sticker suggestions based on typed emojis and new photo editing tools powered by Meta AI. It includes quick edits such as removing objects or changing backgrounds before sending images.
WhatsApp also updated its AI Writing Help feature, which can now suggest replies based on the context of a conversation.
These new features are rolling out and will be available to users gradually.
