HUAWEI has launched the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) in the Philippines, and as the title suggests, it is now available for pre-order.
The display is a 12.2-inch OLED FullView screen with 2.8K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 2,000-nit peak brightness.
For photography, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP secondary camera at the back, and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Kirin chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The tablet runs on a 10,100mAh battery, offering up to 14 hours of use and full charging in 55 minutes.It comes with the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil (3rd Gen), offering users a laptop-like typing and drawing experience. The Glide Keyboard connects via NearLink 2.0 and supports transitions between work modes.
The tablet includes lifetime access to the PC-level WPS Office Suite and supports the new Live Multitask feature, which allows up to three apps on screen at once. The updated HUAWEI Notes app also includes handwriting recognition, search features, and templates for different use cases.
For creatives, the MatePad Pro supports GoPaint, a built-in app powered by the FangTian Painting Engine. It allows up to 8K canvas size and comes with multiple brush options, including oil painting and gradient brushes. It also supports frame-by-frame animation.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is priced at PHP 49,999, and is now available for pre-order from July 11 to 17, 2025, through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, HUAWEI Online Store, and HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide.
Customers who pre-order can claim vouchers worth PHP 2,000 and get a bundle worth up to PHP 28,895. This includes the Glide Keyboard, M-Pencil, WATCH FIT 3, Bluetooth Mouse, and WPS Office license.
