While local specifications remain unconfirmed, the device has already been introduced in India, offering an early glimpse of what to expect.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G is reported to feature a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1280 × 2800 resolution. The panel supports up to 6,500 nits peak brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1.07 billion colors, and a 94% screen-to-body ratio.
For cameras, it is equipped with a triple rear setup, including a 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP secondary camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it has a 50MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support up to 4K video recording at 60fps.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on a 4nm process, paired with an octa-core CPU clocked up to 2.8GHz and an Adreno 722 GPU.
It comes with up to 12GB of RAM, along with support for up to 14GB of virtual RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1, with no expandable storage.

The phone packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging via USB-C. It runs on Android with realme UI.
Other models in the lineup, including the realme 16 5G and realme 16 Pro 5G, are also expected to arrive with AMOLED displays, offering up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Screen sizes may go up to 6.78 inches depending on the variant, with typical brightness around 600 nits.
Camera configurations vary across the series. The Pro+ variant may include a 200MP main camera paired with a 50MP telephoto lens, while the Pro model replaces the telephoto with a wide camera. The base model is expected to feature 50MP rear and front cameras.

Chipsets and battery capacities will differ depending on the specific configuration.
