After its launch in Indonesia last week, Xiaomi officially launches the Redmi A5 globally.
The Redmi A5 comes with a 6.88-inch IPS LCD display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 450 nits peak brightness.

For photography, it features a single 32MP rear camera with an LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T7250 processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which can be expanded via microSD. It also supports an additional 4GB of virtual RAM.

A 5,200mAh battery with 15W charging via USB Type-C keeps the phone running. It runs on Android 15 (Go Edition) and supports dual SIM connectivity.

The Redmi A5 is priced at USD79 (around PHP4,599). What do you think of this smartphone launching in the Philippines?
