We’re back with another comparison, and today, we’ll be putting the vivo X200 and the OPPO Find X8 head-to-head.
Both devices are flagship smartphones powered by the same chipset and fall within the same price range. But which one stands out as the better option? Let’s find out!
Both smartphones feature a premium, minimalist design with a centrally positioned, rounded camera module.

The vivo X200 comes with a glossy glass back that’s prone to fingerprint smudges, while the OPPO Find X8 also uses a glass back but with a matte-like finish. Both devices offer a comfortable grip, but the OPPO Find X8 has slightly rougher edges compared to the smoother frame of the vivo X200.
In terms of dimensions, the OPPO Find X8 is lighter at 193g and slightly slimmer, making it easier to handle with one hand compared to the vivo X200, which weighs 197g.

Additionally, the Find X8 has an advantage in durability, featuring Gorilla Glass 7i protection on its back panel.
From a personal standpoint, I’d lean towards the OPPO Find X8 because of its more compact size and simpler design. While both phones look sleek, I prefer darker colorways.

However, design is subjective, so the real deciding factor comes down to their features. Both devices have IP68 and IP69 ratings, but the Find X8 gains an edge with its Gorilla Glass 7i reinforcement.
Flipping the devices over, the OPPO Find X8 sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1256×2760, while the vivo X200 has a slightly larger 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1260×2800.

Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and reach a peak brightness of 4500 nits. However, the Find X8 uses Gorilla Glass 7i for protection, whereas the vivo X200 features Schott Xensation Alpha.

In terms of display quality, both phones offer excellent viewing angles, vibrant colors, and impressive sharpness. While they share similar display specs, the vivo X200 edges ahead due to its slightly larger screen and higher resolution.

Both smartphones feature a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP OIS telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies.
For outdoor photography, the vivo X200 produces more vibrant images, while the OPPO Find X8 delivers a more natural color profile. Both cameras offer excellent detail, sharpness, and a wide dynamic range.

However, the vivo X200 has superior color reproduction. When it comes to indoor and close-up shots, the OPPO Find X8 performs better with subject-to-background separation.
In low-light conditions, both devices manage to brighten images effectively, though the vivo X200 processes light flares more efficiently.
For selfies, the Find X8 captures more natural skin tones, while the vivo X200 maintains its vibrant output. Both front cameras deliver solid detail and sharpness, with the OPPO Find X8 producing deeper blacks.

For video recording, both rear and front cameras support up to 4K at 60FPS, ensuring high-quality footage across the board.

Under the hood, both phones are powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The vivo X200 we tested comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, whereas the OPPO Find X8 offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Out of the box, both run on Android 15, with Funtouch OS 15 on the vivo X200 and ColorOS 15 on the OPPO Find X8.

Despite having the same processor, benchmark results show that the OPPO Find X8 scores slightly higher in performance tests. Additionally, the Find X8 promises up to five major Android updates, while the vivo X200 is limited to four.
The vivo X200 packs a 5800mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the OPPO Find X8 has a slightly smaller 5630mAh capacity.
When it comes to charging, the vivo X200 supports 90W wired fast charging and reverse wired charging, whereas the Find X8 is limited to 80W wired charging. However, the Find X8 compensates with 50W wireless charging—something the vivo X200 lacks.

If battery features are a deciding factor for you, the OPPO Find X8 may be the better choice due to its wireless charging capability, despite the vivo X200 having a slightly larger battery and faster wired charging.
In the Philippines, the vivo X200 is priced at PHP 57,999 for the 16GB+512GB variant, while the OPPO Find X8 costs PHP 54,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. The price difference isn’t drastic, but when considering the overall package, the OPPO Find X8 offers better value—it provides flagship performance, a durable design, a great display, and additional features like wireless charging, all while being more affordable.
