Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Greg Joswiak, has teased an October 13 product launch with the tagline “Welcome home,” hinting at new smart home devices.
According to reports, Apple is expected to introduce a smart home hub with a display, a second-generation HomePod mini, and an updated Apple TV 4K.
All three devices are also expected to support Apple’s upcoming AI-powered Siri.
The rumored smart home hub, also known as HomePad or Home Hub, is expected to feature a 6-inch square display and may come in two versions: one designed for desks or countertops and another for wall mounting.
The device is also rumored to feature a built-in speaker in its base and a metal arm supporting the screen.
