YouTube is launching its first-ever Recap feature, letting users review their year in viewing.
The feature highlights top channels, interests, and viewing habits based on watch history.
Users can see up to 12 cards showing their favorite topics, channels, and even personality types derived from the videos they watched most.
For those who listened to music on YouTube, Recap also shows top artists and songs, with options to explore top genres, podcasts, and listening trends through the YouTube Music app.
The feature was developed with extensive user feedback, resulting in personality categories like Adventurer, Skill Builder, Creative Spirit, and others.
Among users, the most common types were Sunshiner, Wonder Seeker, and Connector, while Philosopher and Dreamer were less common.
How to See your YouTube Recap 2025?
Recap is rolling out to Filipino users starting today. It can be accessed from the YouTube homepage or under the “You” tab on both mobile and desktop.
