vivo has officially launched its latest premium foldable smartphone in China, the vivo X Fold6.
The vivo X Fold6 sports an 8.02-inch Samsung M14 folding AMOLED inner panel with a 2504 x 2312 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the outer display is a 6.51 BOE Q11 AMOLED screen with a 2,528 x 1,120 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5000 nits brightness.
Powering it inside is the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super octa-core processor, which is the first foldable from vivo to be powered by a MediaTek chip. It is paired with an Arm Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The foldable packs a 7,000mAh battery capacity with silicon anode and semi-solid-state battery technology, supporting 80W wired fast charging, 40W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.
Camera-wise, it is vivo’s first foldable to feature a 200MP camera system, consisting of a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor with Zeiss optics, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 602 periscope telephoto camera with VCS technology and OIS. Both the inner and outer displays come with a 20MP selfie camera.
The X Fold6 runs on OriginOS 6 Fold based on Android 16. Other features include IP58 and IP59 ratings, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2 Gen 1, NFC, an IR blaster, an X-axis linear motor, stereo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Available colors are: Blue Hole, Salt Lake, Polar Night, and a special Black Gold Edition.
The vivo X Fold6 starts at CNY 7,999 (~PHP 72,066.44) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and goes up to CNY 10,999 (~PHP 99,094.74) for the 16GB + 1TB model.
It will be available starting July 1 in China through vivo China’s official website and official channels.
