ChatGPT has introduced a new Apple Messages plugin that lets users search their message history, catch up on conversations, and draft or send replies directly from a Mac.
Users can install it through Plugins > Public and use prompts to work with their Messages conversations.
The plugin can suggest follow-up messages based on conversations from the previous day, find information in message history, and help identify potential spam messages for deletion.
Users can also connect Messages with other tasks. For example, ChatGPT can check a user’s calendar and suggest available times for dinner, or find birthdays mentioned in messages and add them to the calendar.
The Apple Messages plugin is now available on Mac through ChatGPT Work and Codex.
