AMD has introduced the Radeon RX 9070 GRE, a new desktop graphics card under its Radeon RX 9000 Series lineup.

The graphics card features 48 Compute Units, 3,072 Stream Processors, 48 Ray Accelerators, and 96 AI Accelerators. It offers a boost clock speed of up to 2,790 MHz and a game clock speed of 2,220 MHz.
For memory, the RX 9070 GRE comes with 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit memory interface. It supports memory speeds of up to 18 Gbps and provides bandwidth of up to 432 GB/s, alongside 48MB of AMD Infinity Cache.
According to AMD, the graphics card is designed for 1440p gaming and is capable of delivering triple-digit frame rates in supported titles.
The company lists performance figures including 115 FPS in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, 108 FPS in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, 100 FPS in Ghost of Tsushima, and 144 FPS in Forza Horizon 5 with ray tracing enabled.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE has a typical board power rating of 220W and requires two 8-pin power connectors. AMD recommends a minimum 650W power supply for systems using the card.
Connectivity options include DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b. The card also supports AV1 encode and decode, H.264 encoding and decoding, and H.265/HEVC encoding and decoding.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE supports several AMD technologies, including AMD FSR, AMD Fluid Motion Frames, AMD Smart Access Memory, AMD Anti-Lag 2, AMD Radeon Boost, and AMD FreeSync.
