Apple has announced new features for Apple Intelligence across its supported iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro devices.
The update adds new tools for image creation and editing. Image Playground gains additional image generation options, while Photos receives AI-powered features for tasks such as object removal, image expansion, and composition adjustments.

Apple Intelligence is also being integrated into more system apps and services. In Messages and Mail, the system can help identify relevant information, suggest actions, and generate responses.
Shortcuts can now be created using natural language descriptions, allowing users to build automations without manually configuring each step.
Apple is also bringing AI features to Safari, including tools for organizing tabs and tracking changes on webpages.
The Passwords app gains the ability to identify weak or compromised credentials and suggest security improvements.

Additional updates extend to Home and accessibility features. Apple Intelligence can generate summaries from supported security camera footage, while accessibility tools gain improvements for voice control and image descriptions.
Apple says most Apple Intelligence tasks are processed on-device, with more advanced requests handled through Private Cloud Compute.
The updated Apple Intelligence experience is available for developer testing and will roll out to users through iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27 later this year.
