Grab Philippines has updated its GrabCar Group Ride feature to automatically split fares among passengers.
The service allows up to three people to share one ride, with up to three drop-off points. Each passenger can see their share of the fare before confirming the booking.
Users can also save regular ride groups and frequently used pickup and drop-off locations to make repeat bookings easier.
How to Book a GrabCar Group Ride
Passengers can book a Group Ride through the Grab app by following these steps:
- Open the Grab app, select GrabCar, and choose Group Ride.
- Enter the pickup location and drop-off point.
- Share the invitation link with up to two friends.
- Let each passenger add their own drop-off point.
- Confirm the booking and let the app automatically split the fare.
GrabCar Group Ride is now available in all cities nationwide where GrabCar operates.
