
OPPO has officially announced the global debut of its OPPO Reno 12 series, scheduled for June 18 at an OPPO event on Ibiza Island, Europe. The lineup includes the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, which were previously launched in China.
According to rumors, OPPO Reno 12 series will feature a large 6.7 inches AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering up to 1200 nits of brightness. The Pro variant boasts a quad-curved screen, while the standard model features a dual-edge display.
For performance, the global versions of the OPPO Reno 12 series will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 chipset. They will come with 12GB RAM, 256GB and 512GB storage, and offer a unique 12 GB of virtual RAM feature. A 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability.
In terms of cameras, the Reno 12 series is rumored to equip with a 32 MP front camera on the Reno 12 and a 50 MP front camera on the Reno 12 Pro. Both models share a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for enhanced photo and video stability.
The Pro version further includes an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the Reno 12 features an 8MP and 2MP auxiliary camera setup.
