The company gave us a sneak peek through its Weibo account, unveiling a sleek, vertically folding design with a unique circular display on the back. Interestingly, this design closely resembles the recently launched ZTE Libero Flip, sparking speculation about a possible global rebrand.
In the teaser poster, the Flip 5G takes the stage for the first time. Sporting a flip-style foldable, the device boasts a circular display on the outside, forming a distinctive ring-shaped camera module around the screen.
While specifics remain under wraps, early rumors suggest the Flip 5G might fall into the mid-range category, equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and featuring a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display.
Despite the visual similarities to the ZTE Libero Flip, the nubia Flip 5G has secured its own certifications, including a spot on the IMEI database and 3C certification with 33W charging support.
