Apple AirTag 2 Priced in PH

AirTag 2

Apple has officially introduced the second-generation AirTag, and it is now listed in the official website.

The new AirTag uses Apple’s second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, which is also in the iPhone 17 series and recent Apple Watch models, allowing Precision Finding to work up to 50 percent farther.

The feature guides users with on-screen directions, haptic feedback, and sound. An upgraded Bluetooth chip further extends detection range, and Precision Finding now works on Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 or later.

The built-in speaker is also 50 percent louder, making alerts easier to hear when an AirTag is hidden.

AirTag works with the Find My network to locate items even when they are out of range, and the Share Item Location feature lets users temporarily share an AirTag’s location with trusted third parties, such as airlines.

Privacy and security protections remain the same, including end-to-end encryption, rotating Bluetooth identifiers, and alerts against unwanted tracking.

Moreover, the AirTag uses recycled plastics, rare earth elements, and fiber-based packaging and is compatible with all existing AirTag accessories.

AirTag 2 Price in the Philippines

The new AirTag 2 is now listed on Apple’s website in the Philippines. It is priced at PHP 1,990 for a single unit and PHP 6,790 for a four-pack.
