OPPO has revealed several new AI-powered features coming to its ColorOS 16 system.
First, the AI Bill Manager can extract payment details from digital invoices and photos of physical receipts, then organize them into structured records.
The feature works through AI Mind Space and can be activated using the Snap Key or a three-finger swipe gesture.
Next, the AI Mind Pilot is another new feature that uses multiple AI models to generate answers based on a user’s personal context. It can run responses from different models at the same time, allowing users to compare results within a single interface.
For travel use, AI Menu Translation can translate menus from images, provide dish descriptions, identify ingredients, and convert prices into a selected currency. The feature is reportedly limited to 30 uses per month.
OPPO is also introducing AI Email Brief, which summarizes incoming emails, highlights tasks and meetings, and allows users to quickly add items to their calendar.
On the interface side, a new Live Space feature brings a more dynamic lock screen with capsule-style and stacked notification views designed to keep information accessible without cluttering the display.
OPPO is also reportedly working with Google to enable Quick Share support for Apple devices.
With this, the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra will be able to send files directly to Apple hardware without requiring third-party apps, similar to AirDrop.
However, the company has not confirmed when this feature will be available.
The official ColorOS 16 updates will be unveiled together with the OPPO Find X9 Ultra on April 21, 2026.
