NVIDIA and Microsoft Tease “New Era of PC” Ahead of Computex 2026

NVIDIA and Microsoft posted coordinated messages on X with a caption “A new era of PC,” ahead of Computex 2026 in Taipei.

The posts point to the upcoming keynote at COMPUTEX TAIPEI, where NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to speak on June 1.

The teasers have led to speculation that NVIDIA may be preparing ARM-based PC chips, reportedly codenamed N1 and N1X, developed in partnership with MediaTek.

The rumored chips are expected to combine multi-core ARM CPUs, Blackwell-based graphics, and built-in AI processing units for thin Windows laptops focused on gaming and AI workloads.

Industry reports suggest companies such as Dell, Lenovo, and possibly Microsoft are testing early prototypes.

The development is seen as a potential challenge to existing PC chipmakers, though final details have not been confirmed.
