It also adds a collapsible sidebar, allowing users to browse music, podcasts, and other content while continuing playback on the same screen.
Spotify says users can now keep audio or video playing while exploring recommendations or their library side by side.
The app also places more focus on video content, with a more visible option to switch into video mode.
On the other hand, the core navigation remains similar to the mobile version, with a bottom bar for main sections and a side menu for profile and settings.
The new Spotify app update is now available on both iOS and Android tablets.
