Maya has announced that it will offer transaction rebates to Filipino households relying on remittances from the Middle East, supporting Filipino families amid the conflict.

From March 23 to April 10, 2026, Maya users who receive remittances from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Lebanon, and Jordan will receive rebate incentives.
Users become eligible for the rebate incentives when they receive remittances into their Maya account from the aforementioned countries.
Within a few days of receiving a qualifying remittance, eligible users will receive an invitation to activate Maya XP. It’s a feature that enables users to unlock additional benefits and incentives, which can be activated through the Maya XP section in the wallet dashboard or profile page and by finishing the quick “Get Started” procedure.
For automated teller machine (ATM) withdrawals, eligible users can get PHP 18 credited back per transaction. Meanwhile, each InstaPay bank transfer is eligible for a PHP 15 rebate.
Users may also receive cashback on mobile load purchases, ranging from 1 percent to 3 percent, depending on their Maya XP level.

“With many overseas Filipinos in the Middle East supporting their families back home, we aim to make it easier for households to access and make the most of these remittances by reducing everyday transaction costs,” said Shailesh Baidwan, Maya Group President and Maya Bank Co-Founder.
This move by Maya will hopefully ease the burden on families amid rising costs and conflict.
