Fuel prices in the Philippines are expected to increase again on April 7, 2026.
An industry source estimates diesel prices could increase by PHP17 to PHP19 per liter, which may push regular diesel above PHP160 per liter and premium diesel close to PHP170 per liter.
Meanwhile, gasoline may also rise by PHPH3 to PHP5 per liter.
The projected increase is higher than the previous week, when diesel rose by PHP4.50 to PHP12.90 per liter and gasoline by PHP1 to PHP2.90 per liter.
According to the source, the increase is based on recent trading in the Mean of Platts Singapore benchmark, with global prices supported by supply concerns and strong demand.
Price monitoring from the Philippine Department of Energy showed diesel prices recently ranging from PHP105 to PHP131.90 per liter, while gasoline ranged from PHP84 to PHP111.10 per liter before recent adjustments.

The DOE has also tightened anti-fuel hoarding measures as part of efforts to stabilize supply amid rising prices and market volatility.
