
Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 17 in China.
The device features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nits peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass protection.

At the back, the rear cameras include a 50MP Light Hunter 950 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the front camera is offers 50MP for selfies.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17 is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It comes with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.
It also packs a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired, 50W wireless, 22.5W reverse wired, and 22.5W reverse wireless.

Durability-wise, it has IP66/68/69 protection against dust and water. Other than that, the phone runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

The Xiaomi 17 is currently available only in China. The base model is priced at CNY 4,499 (approx. PHP 36,799) for the 12GB/256GB model, CNY 4,799 (about PHP 39,199) for the 12GB/512GB variant, and CNY 4,999 (approx. PHP 40,799) for the 16GB/512GB version.
