Synology has added two new models to its DiskStation lineup, the DS1825+ and DS725+.
The new units now come with built-in 2.5GbE ports, providing file transfer speeds up to 2.5 times faster than previous models.
The DS1825+ supports eight drive bays and can be expanded to 18 bays using DX525 expansion units, allowing up to 360TB of raw storage.
The DS725+ starts with two bays and can expand to seven, with a maximum capacity of 140TB.
Both models support private cloud features, including file sharing, data backup, media organization, and IP camera management.
They run on DiskStation Manager (DSM) and support a wide range of apps for centralized data access and remote use.
As for pricing, the Synology DS1825+ & DS725+ have no official pricing details yet for the Philippine market. Stay tuned for more updates.
