Ahead of CES 2026, MSI has announced two 32-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitors focusing on various user needs—the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24.
A third-generation, five-layer Tandem OLED panel built on EL Gen 3 technology is used in both models, which is designed to increase luminous efficiency and prolong panel life.
Both monitors also feature DarkArmor Film, a display surface technology designed to enhance light absorption and reduce the reddish or purplish tint that is often visible on QD-OLED panels in ambient lighting. The company claims that this raises contrast performance by up to 40 percent by improving pure black levels.
Additionally, by raising the screen’s surface hardness from 2H to 3H, the film improves scratch resistance by up to 2.5 times, enabling the panel to endure frequent daily use.
The two monitors also include a feature called Uniform Luminance, which is intended to lessen sudden brightness shifts commonly observed in HDR scenarios. Users can customise the HDR brightness curve, with brightness output linked to different display window sizes. This method helps in maintaining a constant brightness while playing games, watching media, and using a desktop in general.
Moreover, both gaming monitors support DisplayHDR True Black 500 for deeper black levels and controlled highlights.
The MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 has an additional AI Care Sensor powered by an NPU-based IC. The system uses real-time human detection algorithms to detect user presence, which will allow the monitor to automatically manage power states and turn on panel protection features when necessary.
Meanwhile, the MSI MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 retains the same third-generation 5-layer Tandem OLED panel, DarkArmor Film, Uniform Luminance feature, and DisplayHDR True Black 500 support. However, this model does not include the AI Care Sensor.
Pricing and availability details of the gaming monitors are yet to be revealed. We expect to learn more about them as the launch nears.
