LG Electronics has announced its 2026 LG gram laptop lineup at CES 2026.
The 2026 gram laptops include the LG gram Pro 17 and the LG gram Pro 16. Aerominum, a new magnesium-aluminum alloy mainly utilized in the aerospace sector, is incorporated into the lineup. The material enhances durability without sacrificing portability by combining the strength of aluminum with the low weight of magnesium.
LG claimed that the lineup has seen a 35-percent improvement in scratch resistance compared to previous models. Its chassis meets U.S. military-grade durability standards, while a dual AI system that combines on-device AI processing with cloud-based AI services is supported by a few models in the 2026 LG gram lineup.
With an improved gram Link feature, the 2026 LG gram models increase cross-platform connectivity. gram Link now allows wireless file sharing, photo transfers, screen mirroring, and display extension on Android, iOS, and webOS devices.
The LG gram Pro 17 sports a 17-inch display, which is integrated into a chassis comparable in size to typical 16-inch laptops. Its display uses LCD and supports WQXGA (2560 × 1600) resolution. It is also said to be the lightest 17-inch RTX laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB GDDR7 graphics memory.
The LG gram Pro 16, on the other hand, is positioned as the lightest 16-inch laptop in its class to support both on-device and cloud-based AI. It features a 16-inch OLED panel with WQXGA+ (2880 × 1800) resolution. Powering it is either Intel Core Ultra processors or AMD Ryzen AI 400 series processors. Additionally, it is packed with a 77Wh battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 27 hours of video playback, while a 30-minute charge enables more than 9 hours of use through fast charging technology.
