MediaTek has introduced the Dimensity 7500 mobile platform.
The Dimensity 7500 is an octa-core chipset built for mid-to-upper range smartphones.
The chipset supports display resolutions up to 1344 × 2800 at 144Hz, along with secondary display support up to 1300 × 1200 at 120Hz
The chipset features a CPU configuration of 4 Arm C1 Pro cores clocked up to 2.6GHz and 4 Arm C1 Nano cores up to 2.0GHz, paired with an octa-core design.
It supports LPDDR5 memory with speeds up to 6400Mbps and UFS 3.1 storage using a 2-lane interface.
For connectivity, the Dimensity 7500 supports multi-mode 2G to 5G networks, including SA and NSA 5G modes.
It also supports peak download speeds of up to 5.2Gbps and features technologies like DSS, 4×4 MIMO, and VoNR.
Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 6E with up to 2T2R antenna configuration and Bluetooth 5.4.
For imaging, the platform supports camera sensors up to 200MP and video recording up to 4K at 30fps with 10-bit color. Supported video codecs include H.264, HEVC, and VP9.
Graphics are handled by an Arm Mali-G625 MC2 GPU, while AI processing is powered by MediaTek’s NPU 850.
Brands expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 are likely to be announced in the coming weeks or months.
