With the upcoming Android 6.0 Marshmallow debut on the soon to come Nexus phones, it is certain that some smartphone manufacturers are going to jump in immediately for the Marshmallow update, and that is the case to some Motorola handsets. Software updates have been a thing of complication for some manufacturers, with the laterals either to provide a positive approach or degrade the device’s experience overall.
Motorola aims to keep it simple, yet very updated as it official announced that they’ll be updating some of their handsets to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, though, the list was seen to be a bit shorter than expected.
Here are the list of these particular handsets of Motorola to be inclined with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
All of these, together with the newly-launched Google Nexus 6 will possess an immediate update of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, though for the Nexus 6, it will get its updates directly from Google rather than from Motorola. Motorola has yet to announce the particular update release timeline for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, however Motorola added that the timeline might be announced on the “coming weeks”, quoted from Motorola themselves.
Motorola also aims to close down development of different built-in applications for their handsets on the Android 6.0 update, in which them aim to maximize simplicity and minimize bloatware capacity, which we could all agree that its a good thing.
