Motorola has revealed its new set of phones on the G-series and this time they are taking things simple. The Moto G30 along with the G10 will be for the new generation that mainly focuses on an awesome camera experience accompanied with long battery life.
The Moto G30 will receive a 6.5” IPS LCD with 70 x 1,600 px resolution. The G30 stands out due to its 90Hz refresh rate with a 13MP selfie camera in a notch.
It will also include a quad camera on the rear of the phone which features a 64MP main sensor with Quad Pixel tech. It also packs 1.4 µm pixels with 18MP resolution that is combined with the bright f/1.7 aperture that is capable to enhance the Night Vision Mode.
The G30 will feature an 8MP ultra-wide main camera. Instead of a telephoto camera, the high-resolution main sensor would do the trick for zooming. Two more cameras will be included, the 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth sensor. For video recording, the phone will limit to 1080p @ 60 fps.
For its chipset, the Moto G30 will be having the Snapdragon 662. It also has eight Kryo 260 CPU cores and an Adreno 610 for the GPU. Its OS will be Android 11 adding a few Motorola features.
The smartphone will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM while on storage it has 128GB. It also comes with single and dual SIM versions and a microSD slot hybrid. This somehow limits your phone to have either a single or dual SIM or a single SIM with a microSD.
The G30 is 4G ready and can also be connected to Wi-Fi. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a variety of satellite positioning systems. A USB-C charger is required and a 3.5mm headphone jack. An FM radio receiver is available as well. The Moto G30 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery which will be good for two days of usage and can be charged quickly at 20W.
The Motorola G30 will have a plastic body and will be accompanied by a water-repellent design. Which earns its rating of IP52, dustproof, and able to stave off dripping water.
The Motorola G30 will be available in European stores for €180, which will be roughly PHP 10,529. There are still no updates on when it would be available for Philippine stores.
