After releasing the Moto Edge+ flagship, the company is back with the Moto G 5G Plus. To be available in Europe starting July 8, the mid-range 5G phone will go on sale at €349(~P19,400) for the 4GB/64GB model and goes up to €399(~P22,200) for the 6GB/128GB. Other markets that will be reached by the phone are Saudi Arabia and the UAE. There’s no word yet if it’ll reach the Philippines. What you’re getting from the phone are 90Hz display, the first dual-pinhole selfie camera, and Snapdragon 765G.
Moto G 5G Plus may look like just another affordable 5G phone but, it has some compelling offerings. Starting with the LCD, it’s larger than most competitors at 6.7″, featuring HDR10 playback support. It houses two dual-pinhole selfie cameras on the top-left corner, making it less obtrusive. One is of 16MP, while the other is 8MP ultrawide. For the main cameras, it still has the 48MP sensor with 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses. The battery is rated 5000mAh but supports 20W fast charging. We’re also looking at Moto G 5G Plus as the first affordable 5G phone with near-stock Android OS.
