Meta AI has announced a new feature called Incognito Chat.
This new feature offers private conversations with AI and is built on Meta’s Private Processing technology.
According to the company, conversations in Incognito Chat cannot be viewed by Meta or other parties. Messages are processed in a secure environment, are not saved, and disappear by default after the session ends.
Meta said the feature is designed for users who may ask sensitive questions or share private information related to finances, health, work, or personal matters while using AI.
The company also said existing incognito-style AI chats on other platforms may still allow providers to access conversations, while Incognito Chat is designed so that even Meta cannot read the messages.
Incognito Chat with Meta AI will roll out on WhatsApp and the Meta AI app over the coming months.
