There is a new update to the eGovPH app.
The government has added the e-MAIFIP (Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients) program to the eGovPH app, allowing Filipinos to apply for medical assistance online.
With the update, patients can submit their application and required documents through the app instead of going through the usual manual process.
The system is now available in 55 hospitals.
During his 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said the online process now only requires two documents and no longer requires endorsements from politicians.
