Lenovo ThinkStation P620 will hit the market in September 2020
Made for professionals and creatives looking to get the most out of a workstation, Lenovo outs ThinkStation P620 with AMD’s latest and most powerful processor — the Ryzen Threadripper Pro. While the official price remains to be seen, at the very least, we know that September 2020 is the availability date of the PC maker’s compact and powerful desktop. As for the specifications, here’s how the configuration goes.
The ThinkStation P620 supports up to two Nvidia Quadro RTX 8000 or four RTX 4000 graphics cards and up to 20TB of storage. While you can push the RAM capacity up to 1TB, the available configuration goes up to 512GB 3200MHz only. As for storage, you get support for PCIe Gen 4 and M.2. For the CPU, the ThreadRipper Pro boasts up to 4GHz clock speed with up to 64 cores. Given the specs, you’d be baffled to know that the chassis is air-cooled only.
Port-wise, we’re looking at a total of six USB-A 3.2, two USB-C 3.2, two USB-A 2.0, a mic and headphone jack, Ethernet, eSata & Firewire, and classic PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse.
