The league of legends world championship finals are almost within us, and the battle looks very intriguing to say the least. Thinks are expected to heat up in Berlin, Germany, as two Korean powerhouse teams, who surpassed 14 other teams from all over the world, will fight for the covenant title of 2015’s League of Legends world champion.
SKTelecom T1, Korea’s number one seed for worlds entered the playing field and took dominance in and out of the group stage as they have been undefeated so far in the tournament. The powerhouse team led by Jang”MaRin”Gyeong-hwan has wrecked havoc so far and is showing dedicated team work and high-end communication. The team also has with them their star player Lee Sang-hyeok, also known as Faker, who’s considered to be the best League of Legends player in the world, which in technicality easily made the team crowd favourite.
Their opponents are none other than Korea’s own KOO Tigers, which has some veteran players in them, such as the bot lane duo of Kim “PreY” Jong-in and Kang “GorillA” Beom-hyeon, which both had their fair share of international play. The team are on the minority side of things, but so far, they have shown that they can keep up with the best that the world has got to offer and we should expect a very interesting and highly competitive game between these Korean powerhouse teams.
The expected final confrontation between these two are on October 31st or primarily November 1st, here in the Philippines. What more can expect from these two teams as they clash in a final confrontation for this season. Which Korean team will reign supreme and hold the prestigious summoner’s cup. Take note that SKT T1 has been world champions before, back on Season 3. Can they do it again? Lets find out.
