Lenovo is planning to update the K3 Note, with Android’s latest up-to-date system, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Find out more about these updates and what other devices would receive the said leap.
From Lenovo’s update matrix chart provided in their site, Lenovo aims to get Marshmallow roundabout asap, but not necessarily soon enough. With that in mind though, the K3 Note is not the only one who’ll receive the Marshmallow leap, certain alterations of the K3 Note, namely the A7000 plus, as well as the A7000 will also receive the update, with the devices to receive the updates on September 2016, which is quite a bit far from now.
The new kids, Vibe S1 and Vibe P1 will also receive the said update upon the release of Android M in June 2016. For now, these 5 devices are the confirmed Lenovo phones to receive the Marshmallow update on their given time periods. Lenovo’s budget device are looking to keep up with recent times, though it looks like it won’t be something to think about as of now, since the updates are still far off.
