Intel’s latest 12th-generation CPUs power the all-new Acer Swift 5. Base models come with a Core i5-1240P or a Core i7-1260P, while the top model has twice the memory at 16GB. Storage on both devices will be NVMe M.2 SSDs with 512GB capacity.
In addition, it features a compact 14-inch IPS display with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and a wide 16:10 aspect ratio for watching content. Moreover, it has a touchscreen panel for easy control. The system handles the audio by featuring dual speakers claiming to provide deeper bass.
There are two USB Type-A ports on the Sift 5, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and Thunderbolt 4 and USB Type-C ports.
Also, a 56Wh battery powers the machine, and a 65W USB Type-C charger charges it. At full charge, Acer claims that the battery will last up to ten hours, while a half-hour top-up can provide four hours of power.
The entire system is housed in an aerospace-grade aluminum chassis CNC-machined. It also weighs 1.2kg and measures 14.92mm thick. The brushed metal sides have a gold color with a mist green color.

Currently, the Acer Sift 5 costs ₱74,999 in the Philippines for the i5/8GB/512GB variant. Alternatively, if you would like an i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB, the price is ₱86,999. Also, the company’s website offers two years of warranty and Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021.
