IQOO has made a silent launch in China with the IQOO U3x 5G. The smartphone is the company’s cheapest 5G-ready phone that ever came into its home market.
The IQOO U3x comes with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop cam at the top center. It also features an FHD+ resolution, an aspect ratio of 20.07:9, a 401ppi pixel density, and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
This smartphone runs in a Snapdragon 480 chipset and along with it is an 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It also has an IQOO 1.0 which is based upon the Android 11 OS. When it comes to security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature.
There is also an 8MP front camera and on its rear, there is a square housing that has a 13MP primary camera, a 2 MP depth lens, and an LED flash.
It has a 5,000mAh battery capacity and comes with an 18W fast charging. As for other features, it comes with a dual SIM slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For pricing and variants, it comes accordingly. The 6GB and 64GB storage is priced at 1,199 Yuan (PHP8,942 est.), the 4GB and 128GB internal storage has a price of 1,199 Yuan (PHP8,942 est.) as well and the 8GB and 128GB storage is priced at 1,499 Yuan (PHP11,180 est.). The smartphones will be available with Ya Gray and Magic Blue and will come on sale on April 1. However, there are no details for an international release.
