
Apple has introduced the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, the latest in the iPhone lineup. These models feature a redesigned camera module, replacing the square island with a pill-shaped design and adopting a new Action Button in place of the mute switch.
The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2556×1179 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the Apple A18 chip, which includes a 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. Storage options are available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The camera system includes a 48MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP Ultra Wide camera and, a 12MP front camera that supports 4K video at 60fps.
There’s also Apple Intelligence built-in that helps you write, express yourself, and get things done. Apple also promises that no one else can access your data.
The iPhone 16 includes safety features such as Emergency SOS and Messages via satellite, Crash Detection for car accidents, Roadside Assistance via satellite, and Find My via satellite for locating lost devices or people without cellular coverage.
The pre-order for the Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus starts at 8:00 p.m. Philippine Time (PHT) on September 13.
The new iPhone 16 is priced with the 128GB model at PHP54,990, the 256GB model at PHP61,990, and the 512GB model at PHP73,990.
While the iPhone 16 Plus is also offered in several configurations, with the 128GB model priced at PHP62,990, the 256GB version at PHP69,990, and the 512GB model available for PHP81,990.
