Apple is expected to launch the iPad Mini 7 towards the end of this year, with a press conference likely in September or October.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that the current iPad Mini 6 is running low on stock and constrained internally, hinting at an imminent successor.
It will likely maintain the same design, display size, and weight as the iPad Mini 6. Improvements include a new display controller to address scrolling issues and enhance screen responsiveness, while the device will continue using an IPS LCD panel.
Key upgrades are expected in RAM and storage: from 4GB to 8GB of RAM and potentially 128GB as the new standard storage.
Performance-wise, the iPad is anticipated to feature a more advanced chip, with the A15 chip being a major selling point for the current model.

The iPad Mini 7 is launching globally on September 9, 2024, during Apple‘s event titled “It’s Glowtime,” which will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park.
