
Apple iPad Air has been updated with the new M4 chip and is now available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes.
The 11-inch model features a 2360 x 1640 Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, while the 13-inch model has a 2732 x 2048 Liquid Retina display with up to 600 nits brightness.
Both support wide color (P3), True Tone, and Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C), including hover support.

For cameras, the rear uses a 12MP Wide camera with an f/1.8 aperture and supports 4K video recording up to 60fps. The front features a 12MP Center Stage camera with 1080p video recording capabilities at up to 60fps.
The new tablets are powered by the Apple M4 chip and come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread support on all models. Wi-Fi + Cellular versions use Apple’s C1X modem with 5G (sub-6 GHz) and Gigabit LTE.

The device supports eSIM only and does not have a physical SIM slot.
Battery capacity is 28.93Wh for the 11-inch model and 36.59Wh for the 13-inch model. Apple rates battery life at up to 10 hours of web browsing or video playback on Wi-Fi, and up to 9 hours using cellular data.
The iPad Air 2026 runs on iPadOS 26 and comes with a USB-C cable and 20W USB-C power adapter in the box.
