Fujifilm officially launches the Instax Link WIDE 2 and Instax Pal 2.
The Instax Link WIDE 2 is a smartphone printer that uses FUJIFILM Instax WIDE instant film, sold separately.
It connects to devices via Bluetooth 5.1 and supports JPEG, PNG, HEIF, and DNG image formats. It can print an image in approximately 14 seconds and produce around 100 prints on a full charge, depending on usage.
The printer has a 62 × 99 mm image size, an internal lithium-ion battery, and a USB Type-C port for charging. It takes around 1.5 to 2 hours to charge and weighs 357 grams without the film cartridge.
Meanwhile, the Instax Pal 2 is a compact digital camera with a 1/3.06-inch CMOS sensor and support for 10MP and 1MP image modes. It has a 28mm-equivalent lens with an f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, a built-in flash, and a shooting distance of 8cm to infinity.
The camera has internal storage for approximately 100 images and supports microSD, microSDHC, and microSDXC cards with capacities of up to 2TB. It also features a 1.30-inch color LCD screen, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port.
Through its smartphone app, users can switch camera effects, take remote shots, and transfer images or Instax Animation content. The camera supports Instax mini, Instax SQUARE, and Instax WIDE printing formats, as well as a 4:3 format without a frame.
The Instax Pal 2 has a built-in lithium-ion battery and takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to charge.
