Yesterday, Huawei Mobile Philippines has teased via a Facebook post that it will launch a new MateBook laptop in the country soon.
The post said “Ready for an upgrade? New HUAWEI Matebook is coming”.
The brand has yet to reveal the official name of the device, but it is reported to be the MateBook Pro X 2022.
To recap, the Huawei MateBook X Pro 2022 was launched globally in February 2022, featuring a 14.2-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a pixel resolution of 3120 x 2080 and a 90Hz refresh rate. The top bezel is 6mm thin and comes with an integrated HD webcam. The display also has 500nit brightness and a P3 wide color gamut.
Inside, it comes with Intel’s 11th-generation Rocket Lake processors, along with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD, and a 60Wh battery with a 90W USB-C Power Adapter. In addition, the MateBook X Pro 2022 also has three air intakes, dual shark fin fans, and a VC heat dissipation module.

There’s no word yet for its exact launch date as well as its pricing, but it is priced at EUR 1,899 in Europe which is around PHP 108,824 if converted.
