ASUS recently announced the Space Edition of the ZenBook 14X OLED laptop, sporting a 14-inch OLED screen with a pixel resolution of 2880 x 1800, 16:10 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.
There’s also a 3.5-inch mini OLED secondary screen on the cover that can display different animations, notifications, battery status, date, time, and custom text.
In terms of design, the laptop features futuristic-looking elements resembling a spaceship. The body is built in accordance with the US Space System Command Standards (SMC-S-016A) which makes it resistant to vibrations and extremely low or high temperatures. In addition, it measures 15.9 mm thick and weighs 1.4kg.
Under the hood, the ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition comes with the 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor along with Intel Iris Xe GPU, up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD with 6500MB/s read speed. For ports, it has 4x USB-C connectors, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port, and an HDMI 2.0. Other features include Dolby Atmos speakers with Smart Amplifier, fingerprint sensor (Power Button), AI noise cancellation, electric webcam shield, and LED-illuminated touchpad.
Pricing and Availability
The ASUS ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition is now available through various retailers in the US with a starting price of USD 1,999 (~PHP 104,935).
