Numerous amount of rumors and reports surfaced for months regarding the launching of Huawei’s upcoming flagship. There were speculations that the P20/P11 would be launched during the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. Finally, GSMArena has confirmed that Huawei’s flagship P20 or P11 will be unveiled in a special event on March 27.
Huawei will hold a special event in Paris, France where it would unveil the much-awaited flagship smartphone. Roland Quandt revealed on his Twitter account that next device won’t be called Huawei P11 and instead it will be named as Huawei P20. In a separate tweet, he revealed that the Huawei will be launched in three variants – Huawei P20, P20 Plus, and P20 Lite. However, Huawei still hasn’t confirmed the real name of the device.
According to an HTML compliance benchmark that surfaced weeks ago, the upcoming P20 or P11 will arrive with 18.7:9 aspect ratio with the resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels.
As mentioned before, the cameras are aligned horizontally and tilted to the top left corner. The setup is said to be called ProTriple-lens design. Reports suggest that it will have a total output of 40MP and also support five times Hybrid zoom as well as feature a new AI photo assistant.
