The Chinese company’s new laptops are great options for those who want mid-range specs while having a lightweight design. Speaking of, you can either get the 10th generation Intel Core i5/i7 series or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU. That’s already paired with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 dedicated GPU. RAM starts at 8GB with an option for 16GB. Last but not least is the inclusion of up to 512GB SSD storage. As for port selection, here’s what you get:

  • 1 x USB-C
  • 2 x USB 2.0
  • 1 x USB 3.0
  • 1 x HDMI
  • 1 x audio jack

An important feature to note is that the smaller model comes with a larger battery at 56Wh, as opposed to the 42Wh of the larger model. For the rest of the specs, the screen is of 1080p IPS LCD with slim bezels around it, a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello, and a hidden webcam in the keyboard, like the MateBook X Pro. The MateBook D lineup takes inspiration from the Apple MacBook lineup, given the Mystic Silver and Space Gray color options. In the Philippines, only the MateBook 13 is available to purchase. It has a starting price of P55,990 for the i5 model and goes up to P69,990 for the i7 model.
