Gmail‘s new design is being introduced by Google and is being distributed to many users via an OTA update. This updated design unifies the interfaces of several Google communication services, including Chat, Meet, and Gmail. Users of Gmail will all be switched over automatically to the new style, but they can choose to stay on the old layout if they want.

You may choose not to use the new Gmail layout from the Settings menu if you don’t want to. Users of Gmail who do not wish to transition to the new layout can see the shortcut option in the email client’s fast settings.

NEW GMAIL LAYOUT
In February of this year, the new Gmail UI began to roll out to users, but just a small percentage of Gmail’s 1.5 million users could access it. The automatic changeover to the new layout may be disabled in order to keep the old layout. To do this, simply follow the instructions below.
- Step 1: Go to the Gmail home page first.
- Step 2: Go to the upper right corner of Gmail and click the quick settings. To the right of the profile symbol, there is the gear-shaped icon.
- Step 3: A small menu will appear, just click “Return to original view” and a pop-up will appear and ask you why you want to return to the previous view of your Gmail, you can also leave it blank and just click the “Reload”.

You must do the actions outlined here in order to return to the new Gmail look. - Step 1: First, you must access the Gmail home page.
- Step 2: To access the Gmail fast settings, click the gear-shaped icon in the upper right corner.
- Step 3: Select the option to return to the previous layout in lieu of the shortcut at the top that switches to the new one.
- Step 4: To return to the new layout, simply click “Try the new Gmail view” to return Gmail to the new view.
