For the audience’s enjoyment, TV show producers put a lot of effort and originality into their intros. Watching every new episode, especially if you’re binge-watching, may get old.
When you want to skip straight to an episode of any show, Netflix added the Skip Intro option only a few years back. Even if it already makes things more convenient, it might be inconvenient to constantly grab for the remote or the computer mouse to skip the intro.
Luckily, there is a method to have Netflix skip the opening automatically. We’ll demonstrate the process to you today.
HOW TO AUTOMATICALLY SKIP INTRO ON NETFLIX IN GOOGLE CHROME
- Visit the link to download the Auto Skip Intro for Prime and Netflix (ASPN) Chrome extension on your Windows or Mac computer.
- Press “Add to Chrome.”
- Then choose “Add Extension.” There is really nothing else to set up. The opening will automatically skip the next time you watch a Netflix TV program or series without having to do anything.
HOW TO PERMANENTLY SKIP NETFLIX INTROS IN MOZILLA FIREFOX
- On your Windows or Mac computer, start the Mozilla Firefox browser. Then after, get that same extension for Skip Netflix Intro by browsing the Firefox store.
- Press “Add to Firefox.”
- Hit “Add” when the browser requests your consent to add the extension.
- The Netflix introduction will now be skipped whenever you view an episode or series after you click “Okay.”
AUTO-SKIP SHOW INTRODUCTION FOR NETFLIX IN MICROSOFT EDGE
- To download the Netflix Skip browser extension, launch the Edge browser on your Windows or Mac laptop or desktop and go to this Microsoft Store page.
- Press “Get”.
- When the extension has finished downloading, click “Add Extension.” When finished, the introduction or recap will automatically skip the following time you view any Netflix series.
CAN NETFLIX SKIP THE INTRO AUTOMATICALLY ON ANDROID AND IOS?
Sadly, on mobile devices including Android and iOS, there is currently. No third-party service or extension that enables users to automatically skip the intro. We can really only hope that Netflix will someday provide such type of capability natively on its mobile app.
HOW CAN I SKIP THE NETFLIX INTRO ON MY SMART/ANDROID TV FOREVER?
You cannot immediately skip the intro on Netflix using the official Netflix app. For Smart TVs, just like on mobile devices. No independent app does either.
