Telegram is a well-known communication app that provides privacy, but not as much as Signal. Telegram by default makes your latest online activity visible to everyone. Now, we will give you a tip on how to hide that.
Change How “Last Seen Online” Displays
Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, and iPad users can use Telegram. The directions for altering this parameter are the same for all apps because developers used a comparable methodology.
The first step is to go to settings at the top of your screen. After that, click the Privacy & settings.
You can choose from the following options for who can view your “Last Seen Online” time on the following screen: Everyone (including individuals you haven’t added), My Contacts, and Nobody.
It’s up to you what you choose from the three, you can make an exception in this configuration.
You will see an “Always Share With…” option, for example, if you select “Nobody.” By tapping on this, you can add people whose last-online times will always be visible to them. Close friends or family members will find this valuable. The option to add users to a block list will appear if you select “Everybody.”
Check that everything else is in order while you’re tinkering with Telegram’s privacy settings. Other choices that you can set include who can call you, who can invite you to group chats, and who can forward your messages to other accounts.
What Contacts See When You Change This Setting
This setting’s default display will be your most recent online appearance date. The precise moment you last went online will also be included in this data if it has been less than 24 hours since then. Anything more than that will only show the date.
