The Maya app now allows you to retrieve your Western Union remittance from more than two hundred countries. You need to request that the sender transfer the money to your Maya app through Western Union, and that’s all there is to it!
How to Claim Western Union Remittances in Maya
- Open your Maya app and tap “Cash In.”
- Scroll down to “Our Partners,” find “Western Union,” and click on it.
- Enter the 10-digit Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) from the sender’s Western Union transaction receipt and click “Continue.”
- Check that the information is correct and tap “Receive” to confirm the transaction.
- You’ll get a message in-app and via SMS that the transaction went through.
That’s it! You have successfully claimed your remittance from Western Union to your Maya app.
