The HOVERAir AQUA, the world’s first fully waterproof self-flying camera, has been launched in the Philippines.

The HOVERAir AQUA is designed for water-based activities such as kayaking, surfing, wakeboarding, and jet skiing, which automatically tracks and records subjects, eliminating the need for a remote pilot.
The drone weighs under 250 grams and carries an IP67 waterproof rating. It is inherently buoyant, allowing it to float and resume flight directly from the water’s surface. It comes with a hydrophobic lens, anti-fog capabilities, and a corrosion-resistant body. Additionally, the drone can handle saltwater conditions, withstand Level 7 wind speeds, and top out at 55 km/h.
In terms of camera capabilities, the HOVERAir AQUA is equipped with a 1/1.28″ CMOS sensor capable of recording 4K video at up to 100 fps. Meanwhile, it supports 15 intelligent flight modes, including Paddle Mode, Kayak Mode, and Surf Mode. It also comes with a wearable controller called Lighthouse, which is used for takeoff, return-to-home, and directional flight control.
Other features include the SmoothCapture stabilization system, a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, and a 23-minute flight time.

The HOVERAir AQUA is priced at PHP 87,990. The Basic Combo is available through selected retailers and online stores.
