A new leak has surfaced online stating that HONOR is standardizing big battery capacities on its flagship and mid-range smartphones.

According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the brand will introduce more than 7,000mAh battery capacity for its flagships, while more than 8,000mAh for its mid-rangers.
To recap, the company recently unveiled the HONOR X70 with a large 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery. Its predecessor, the X60, packed a 5,880mAh battery. This increase in battery capacity is beneficial for users, as this will keep their phones running longer.
Meanwhile, flagships like the Magic7 Series have 5,650mAh or 5,850mAh sizes. 7,000+mAh on upcoming flagships would also be a big improvement.
The tipster also added that future flagship devices will support up to 100W charging speeds.

It is still uncertain if smartphones outside China will follow the same concept. Stay tuned for more updates.
