Google Introduces Gemini 3.7 Flash

Google has introduced Gemini 3.7 Flash, a new AI model focused on coding, software development, and other complex tasks.

The new model comes just three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash and is designed to handle multi-step tasks with fewer prompts and less manual input.

Google says Gemini 3.7 Flash performs better than the previous version in several coding and development tests. It scored 43.6% on FrontierCode 1.1 Main, compared with 34.4% for Gemini 3.6 Flash. It also scored 65.3% on DeepSWE v1.1, up from 49.0%.

For web development, Gemini 3.7 Flash scored 1,588 on WebDev Arena, compared with 1,538 for Gemini 3.6 Flash. Google also reported improvements in document analysis and business workflow tasks.

The model is also designed to better understand instructions, handle problems during a task, and make better use of tools. Google says this can reduce the need for repeated prompts and manual corrections.

The model is available to developers through the Gemini API and Google AI Studio, while businesses can access it through Google’s enterprise AI services.

Gemini Spark will also use Gemini 3.7 Flash for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in supported countries.
